In the absence of your love
And in the absence of human touch
I have decided I’m throwing my arms
around all of paris because only stone and steel
accept my love

In the absence of your smiling face
I traveled all over the place
and I have decided
I’m throwing my arms around
all of paris because only stone and steel
accept my love
I’m throwing my arms around
all of Paris because only stone and steel
accept my love
Morrissey Lyrics on http://www.lyrics-celebrities.anekatips.com/

I’m throwing my arms around
Paris because nobody wants my love
Nobody wants my love
Nobody needs my love
Nobody wants my love
Yes you made yourself plain
Yes you made yourself very plain

dearkrsna: What will be expected of me in a typical course? Graduate courses are likely to require more reading than you did for the advanced courses you took as an undergrad.  Professors will assume that you did all the reading and understood it, so lectures and class discussions will pick up where the reading left off.  If you contribute meaningfully to class and online discussions, you’ll get a lot more out of your courses than you would by staying quiet. You’ll write papers in every course.  In addition to the standard research paper assignment, courses may require bibliography reviews, write-ups of oral seminar reports, and other types of writing, depending on the nature of the course and the professor’s teaching style.

“Quote”

“If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you’ll be unhappy for the rest of your life.”

Course Objectives

The objectives of the course are to provide you with more than some measure of academic credit. Basic terminology, theoretical considerations, philosophy, and information from research studies have the greatest value when they are applied to an individual’s daily life.

As you read about the “society of cells,” organized for functional control of the internal environment, try to appreciate the efforts of Vander, Sherman, and Luciano (the original authors of your textbook) to provide a logical framework for your comprehension of physiology. Look at this syllabus, consider the unit topics, and analyze the format in the light of your present understanding of physiology. Does the sequence seem logical to you?

I JUST READ PRESIDENT OBAMA’S SPEECH TO THE CHILDREN…

(via)giveabit:

And I am appalled that he would address our school children, by telling them, that they should take responsibility for their lives and strive harder. He should not be telling them to dream big and realistic and set small goals until they get bigger and better. The fact that he talked about him being a child from a single parent home, who was broken, alone, got into trouble and still succeeded in life, should not be directed towards our children. Wow, I absolutely understand the uproar that this speech is getting. If I had a child I would not let them go to school to hear the speech and if they ask me why I will say “It’s because the President wants you take responsibility for your life, study hard, get involved in the community and respect the teachers or adults who want to make your life better, I don’t want that for you sweetheart”. I would say exactly that. It’s ridiculous, that even though the drop out rate in America, is the highest in the world, that President Obama wants our children to focus on their future so they can succeed and make a difference in the world. I can only imagine what he says to his children “you girls, have a choice you can either do nothing or do something that you are proud of, if you choose to do something you must study hard and try harder even when you fail and ignore those around you who try to push you down, never mind them, you can do anything”, like what the hell is that?….

I AM TOTALLY BEHIND PRESIDENT OBAMA’S SPEECH, I found his speech to the nation’s children to be inspirational and not all forceful. He said things that parents and teachers should not hesitate to say to their children. For anyone who was in such a rush to speak so harshly of the president should not hesitate or withdraw from reading http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2009/09/07/obama-speech-to-school-children-you-make-your-own-future/ the speech.

Ever since I was able to understand the term President, and really follow Presidents as Bill Clinton, Bush and now President Obama, I find it appalling that with each president, everyone has something negative to say. This is our president, he is trying to make things right. He is not perfect, and we should get this HIGH MINDED IDEA THAT THE PRESIDENT IS A GOD” no one is a God, no one is perfect. He’s in charge of running a country, he’s bound to make mistakes, YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE HE IS HUMAN. Humans make mistakes.
